Hey mom friends! Please tell me I’m not alone here. I swear this happens every single day and for some crazy reason I remain an optimist and believe that TODAY the boys will get it right.
I should be happy that most of the time the dirty dishes actually get put in the dishwasher. I mean that is a huge accomplishment in itself.
I swear for a while there was seldom a day that went by where I didn’t say, “I’m not the dishwasher! Put your dishes where they belong!”
So, they’ve made some progress, but they still have a ways to go.
And I’m not sure why it’s so hard to put them in the dishwasher and do it correctly, but apparently it is!
Check out the placement of the dishes here. Do you want to guess who’s plate was put in the back?
Yep, that would be mine.
And why are those other three plates put in there so randomly?
You see, my dear friends, the boys (all three of them) would have to lower the dishwasher door all of the way down and then they would have to roll that heavy a$$ rack all the way out in order to place their plates in the back row where they belong.
And how about this lovely arrangement of the silverware?
I love the spoon that’s resting across the top. Yes, it’s actually laying across the top of the rest.
Now look closely at this picture again. See there? The back silverware section is so very lonely.
Would it have been so hard to put just one or two of those 14 forks and spoons in the back area???
I would love to hear about your Mom Moments. Please feel free to share!
